2 imported COVID-19 cases detected

The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating two additional imported COVID-19 cases, both involving mutant strains.   The cases involve a 51-year-old man and a three-year-old girl. The man arrived in Hong Kong from the UK, while the girl had travelled from Mongolia and Korea.   Both of them tested positive upon arrival at Hong Kong International Airport.   Meanwhile, specified people linked to Tower 10, Phase 3 - The Graces, Providence Bay in Tai Po are reminded to undergo testing tomorrow in accordance with the compulsory testing notice.   A total of 69 cases were reported in Hong Kong in the past 14 days, one of which is a local case with an unknown infection source and the rest are imported.   For information and health advice on COVID-19, visit the Government's dedicated webpage.
