1.77m vaccine doses given

About 1,776,500 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 1,087,200 people receiving their first dose and about 689,300 getting their second dose.   Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 481,800 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 605,400 people have received the BioNTech one.   For the second dose, about 344,600 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 344,700 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.   About 4,900 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.   Among them, about 2,300 people received the jab at community vaccination centres (CVCs), while about 2,600 people were inoculated at private doctors and clinics participating in the programme.   Around 3,100 people received their second dose of the Sinovac vaccine today, including about 1,500 vaccinated at CVCs and about 1,600 people through private doctors and clinics.   For the BioNTech vaccine, about 10,800 people received their first dose at CVCs and about 16,000 people received their second dose.   The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at CVCs is 94%, and that for the BioNTech one is 97%.   As of 8pm, about 2,900 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 9,100 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.   As of midnight, seven people were sent to hospitals.
