76 COVID-19 cases reported
The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating 76 additional COVID-19 cases, of which 72 are locally transmitted.
Among the local cases, 27 have unknown sources of infection.
At a press briefing this afternoon, the centre’s Communicable Disease Branch Head Dr Chuang Shuk-kwan said 23 of the newly infected patients live in Yau Tsim Mong District.
Dr Chuang added that 27 environmental samples were taken from Kensington Plaza in Jordan for virus testing, of which eight have positive results.
All four imported cases involve foreign domestic helpers from Indonesia.
